To accommodate the expansion of the Loyola Press editorial and creative departments, JLA converted the company’s existing warehouse into premium office space and meeting space and renovated adjacent spaces. The complex required not only the integration of three different structural and mechanical systems, but also a spatial unification of the interior. These principles, as well as incorporation of natural light and flexibility of plan guided much of the design process, generating well-composed multi-use spaces and ease of future expansion.
