JLA served as architect of record for this interior and exterior renovation and restoration project. Coordinating with the state preservation office, a solution was reached that was respectful of the building’s historic character, functionally appropriate to the needs of the Navy, and sensitive to a limited budget. Scope included terra cotta and brick masonry restoration, complete restoration of windows, full replacement of the roof, and replacement of interior locker facilities, kitchen, and HVAC system.
