JLA has provided several preservation services for this unique historic estate currently owned and operated by the University of Illinois. Understanding its importance as a cultural landmark, the University employed JLA to implement condition assessment and master planning for the full park, HABS documentation of farmhouse structures, and ultimately to prepare a National Register nomination for the house, gardens, and immediate surrounding buildings.
