Naper Settlement is a historic museum village and interpretive center of 19th-century homes, shops and public buildings. JLA has provided a broad range of services including historic research and documentation, condition assessment with treatment recommendations, and construction administration on a variety of building types as well as the development of a 25 Year Master Plan for the village. These thoughtful planning and restoration efforts, requiring varying degrees of intervention, have contributed greatly to the award-winning museum’s ongoing success.
